Two Criticisms of Barack Obama
These are the two biggest reasons I'm not an Obama fan.
"...Or that he opposed an amendment to the Bankruptcy Act that would have capped credit card interest rates at 30 percent...
Never mind that Obama voted for a business-friendly "tort reform" bill that rolls back working peoples' ability to obtain reasonable redress and compensation from misbehaving corporations. . ."

John Edwards in 2008, baby!

If you look at his full record, Obama is a solid progressive: http://www.realcities.com/mld/krwashington/16935220.htm
There's a myth going around that obama voted for the bankrputcy bill. Someone asked a New Yorker author about his alleged vote, and here was her response:
Actually, Senator Obama voted against S.256, the 2005 Bankruptcy Abuse and Protection Act, as you can see from the Senate roll call of votes on that bill: and Obama’s floor statement on why he voted against it.

Plantiff rights attourneys support this bill, but overall tort reform is bad for justice. Civil actions suits are financially beneficial of the attourneys, but do little for the wronged.
